We take the protection of your personal data seriously and comply with the applicable data protection rules, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Data Protection Act. Below we explain which data we process when you visit this website and how we handle it.

2. Access data / server log files

When you access this website, the web server automatically collects data that your browser transmits for technical reasons and that is necessary for operating and securing the site:

  • anonymised or truncated IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of access
  • name and URL of the file retrieved
  • volume of data transferred and access status (e.g. “successful”, “not found”)
  • browser type and operating system used
  • previously visited page (referrer), where transmitted

This data is processed exclusively to deliver the website, ensure system security and analyse faults. It is not combined with other data and not passed on for advertising purposes. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Server log files are normally deleted automatically after 14 days at the latest.

3. Cookies, tracking and analytics

This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking or analytics services whatsoever (e.g. Google Analytics). Your usage behaviour is not analysed and no user profiles are created. No third-party content (e.g. external fonts or maps) is loaded — all resources are served directly from our own server. For this reason no cookie banner is required.

4. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, on servers located in Germany. Hetzner processes the access data described in section 2 on our behalf as a processor under a contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Getting in touch and the contact form

If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, e-mail address, company, business field, subject and your message) exclusively in order to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to or performance of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (handling your request).

For the technical dispatch of messages sent through the contact form we use the service provider Resend (Resend, Inc., 2261 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA) as a processor. This may involve a transfer of data to the USA, safeguarded by appropriate guarantees (EU standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). We retain your enquiry data until your request has been conclusively dealt with and no statutory retention obligations remain.

6. Recipients of the data

Your data is passed on only to the processors named above (hosting, e-mail dispatch) to the extent described, and to public authorities where we are legally obliged to do so. Your data is neither sold nor passed on for advertising purposes.

7. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right at any time to information about the data stored about you, and to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, a right to object to processing and a right to data portability. An e-mail to sales@grim-innovation.com is sufficient to exercise these rights.

You also have a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), within the EU with the data protection authority responsible for you.

8. Withdrawal of consent

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected.

9. Status and changes

This privacy policy is dated August 2026. We reserve the right to update it with effect for the future where necessary — for example to reflect further development of the website or changed legal requirements.
