Finding a component that meets ten requirements at once means hours in manufacturer catalogues and data sheets. The Research Tool takes that search off your hands — and insists on evidencing every hit on the product itself.
How it works
Five steps from a requirement profile to an evidenced catalogue entry.
- Brand pool — define the component class and the manufacturers worth considering. A base set is provided; brands outside the pool remain admissible and are flagged as such.
- Requirements — fill in the form. Nothing is pre-filled, and every field states what it is needed for.
- Criteria builder — decide line by line: must be evidenced (if the value is missing on the product, it is not a hit) or only if known (the hit stays valid and the gap is recorded).
- Research — the agent works visibly in the chat, step by step. Hits appear grouped by product series, with a main link and a price.
- Catalogue — what fits moves in permanently at the press of a button. The mandatory fields of that research run are checked and anything missing is named individually. The catalogue can be filtered and exported as CSV or HTML.
Why it exists
The tool grew out of our own work.
We build custom heating elements, sensing and electronics, and every project confronts us with the same job: working out from a set of requirements which components actually meet them — not which ones look right at first glance.
The decisive point is the evidence requirement. A hit without proof on the product is not a hit. That removes precisely what otherwise makes AI-assisted research useless: plausible-sounding values that appear nowhere.

- With an account — your data is kept permanently, more research runs per day are possible, and the search time per run is freely selectable.
